JoAnne Lapi-Nuccio is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addiction Professional who provides counseling and psychotherapy services within a private practice setting.  JoAnne received a M.S. in Education from St. John’s University in New York and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Since 1987, JoAnne has worked in Palm Beach County as a Christian educator.  JoAnne also has received post-graduate training in the treatment of addiction and has been committed to helping others overcome the emotional obstacles and spiritual distress that accompany addictive behavior.

Whether you or someone you love is suffering from addiction (i.e., food, dieting, exercise, shopping, alcohol, drugs), we will help you uncover the obstacles that enable the addictive cycle to continue.

Insight4change will help you identify the faulty thinking patterns that lead to unhealthy choices.  By gaining new perspective, you will find the keys to unlock the chains of these harmful habits and create a more balanced and fulfilling life for you and your loved ones.

We firmly believe that healing must take place on 4 levels- intellectual, emotional, physical and spiritual- in order for lasting change to occur.  In our practice, we guide you into self-discovery and self-improvement on all four levels.  We provide referral sources to address the medical and nutritional support that may be needed.
